I haven’t read any Sherlock Holmes stories in a long time, but many years ago I went through a phase where I gobbled up most of them.
The Beekeeper’s Apprentice is the first in a series starring an older Sherlock Holmes and Miss Mary Russell, a young woman that becomes his apprentice and later, his partner.
I’ve read a few of the other books in the series and liked them. I was happy to see this one show up at the used book sale.
