William Gibson – Spook Country

New book from Gibson. I liked it. Not as futuristic as the books that made him ‘a star’, no vat grown ninja assassins with mono wire garrotes or anything like that, but it’s still a nice read. Sort of a ‘what happens to old intelligence officers when they retire’ type book 🙂
And I think Gibson pages though some cool catalogs before he writes a book, just so he has neat stuff to mention through out. Not that there is anything wrong with that. He had me googling several things as I read.
