Evan Wright – Generation Kill: Devil Dogs, Iceman, Captain America, And The New Face Of American War

Wow. This was quite a book. Rolling Stone writer Evan Wright was embedded with some Marines in the First Recon Battalion for the invasion of Iraq.
I really liked this book.
David Simon, creator of The Wire, is producing a 7 part mini-series based on this book for HBO and I’m really looking forward to watching that.
